摘　　要：唐前识别民族的依据经历了由地域风习到礼义制度的转变,对于夷狄的态度也经历了一个由排斥提防到道德感召礼义羁縻,再到平等相待最终视为一体的过程。这一融合过程伴随着较为浓厚的偏见与歧视,诸夏在谈到夷狄时既鄙弃不屑,又希望四夷臣服进贡,表现出颇为矛盾的心理。The basis of identifying ethnic minorities before Tang dynasty has undergone the change from region reveals to moral etiquette and harmony, and the attitude to ethnic minorities also experienced the change from rejection and references to moral impel and the rules control, further to the equal treatment, finally mix together. The fusion process is along with relatively strong prejudice and discrimination, the Chinese talk about the ethnic minorities with disdain, but they hope the ethnic minorities tribute, showing a contradictory psychology.
