摘　　要：为了解释《葡萄园》中美国人混乱的生活状态,笔者提出了后现代社会里美国人的信仰危机,研究了品钦对《圣经》话语、美国梦和佛教教义的解构,从而得出是美国人的信仰危机造成了后现代社会里美国人混乱的生活状态。该结果对研究品钦的作品具有一定的参考价值和指导意义。In order to explain the chaotic living state of the Americans in Vineland, the author proposes the belief crisis of Americans in the post - modern society by studying Pynchon ＇s deconstruction of the Bible, the teachings of Buddhism, and the American dream. This paper draws a conclusion that belief crisis causes chaotic living conditions of Americans in the post - modern society, which can give certain reference to the study of works of Pynchon and other post -modern writers.
