摘　　要：粤东禁约戏的功能主要在于保护作物、保全风水、维护公共场所以及调整公共秩序。该文通过研读、比较清代、民国碑记,并参考其他口述和文献资料,对这四种类型的禁约戏进行了描述和分析。The functions of ＂dramas for prohibition＂ include crop protection, preservation of geoman- tic omen, maintenance of public places and public order.By reading and comparing the stone tablets of Qing Dynasty, Minguo,and referencing other oral information and documentation, the author describes and analyzes these four types of ＂dramas for prohibition＂ .
