摘　　要：海南高等教育发展滞后有着其历史、经济和自身的一些原因。要想一蹴而就短时期内飞速发展难度较大,只有抓住国际旅游岛建设的契机,结合海南的地缘特点,走特色之路,走内涵式发展之路,才能突破瓶颈。The lag in development of Hainan higher education is attributed to some historical, economic and inherent reasons. It is very difficult for us to achieve the rapid development in a short period. Therefore, only when we grasp the construction opportunity of international tourism island, combine the geographical features of Hainan, and take the road of characteristics and connotative development path, can we break the bottleneck.
