Effect of Powder Size on Microstructure and Abrasive Wear Resistance of Cermet Coating Prepared on Steel Belt Surface by High Velocity Oxy-Fuel Spraying

摘  要:目前,有关粉末粒度对超音速火焰喷涂(HVOF)金属陶瓷层组织及性能的影响报道不多。采用HVOF法在T10A钢带表面制备了3种粒度的WC-12Co粉末金属陶瓷层,测定了涂层的显微硬度、物相、磨粒磨损过程中的相对磨损量,讨论了粉末粒度对涂层显微硬度、物相、耐磨粒磨损性能的影响;对涂层的微观表面形貌进行了观察对比,分析了粉末粒度对涂层显微组织的影响。结果表明:随着粉末粒度的减小[200目、400目、纳米级(经团聚)],涂层表面形貌更加致密;涂层的平均显微硬度升高,硬度值分散度降低,耐磨粒磨损性能提高。Three kinds of WC-12Co powders with different grit size were adopted as feedstocks to prepare WC-12Co cermet coatings on the surface of T10A steel belt by high velocity oxy-fuel spraying. The microhardness,phase composition,and relative wear mass loss( abrasive wear) of the cernet coatings were determined,and the effect of the size of the feedstock powder on the microhardness,phase composition,and abrasive wear resistance of the cermet coatings was investigated. In the meantime,the morphology of the cermet coatings was comparatively observed,and the effect of the size of the feedstock powder on the microstructure of the cermet coatings was also discussed. Results indicated that with the decrease of the size of feedstock powders( 200 mesh,400 mesh,and nanometer level( agglomerate)),the compactness,average micro hardness,and abrasive wear resistance of the cermet coatings rose.
