摘 要:采用氧化还原引发体系、种子乳液聚合方法制备了功能单体甲基丙烯酸甲酯(MMA)含量不同的核壳结构共聚物(Poly(BA/MMA-co-MAA),PBMMA)乳液。单体总转化率达99.6%,乳胶粒径(d z)在421nm左右,粒径多分散指数(PDI)均小于0.08,表明胶束无二次成核过程;透射电镜(TEM)观察到PBMMA明显的核壳结构。当MAA质量分数为0.9%时,PBT/PBMMA(质量比100/20)共混物的缺口冲击强度达到最大值,为纯PBT的7.6倍。动态力学分析(DMA)结果表明,橡胶相的内耗峰向高温方向移动,聚对苯二甲酸丁二醇酯(PBT)的内耗峰向低温方向移动,力学损耗峰变宽,且当MAA的质量分数为0.9%时,两峰间的差值最小,说明此时的PBMMA与PBT间相容性最好。扫描电镜(SEM)观察到的共混物冲击断面证实了力学性能的变化。A series of core-shell poly (BA/MMA_eo_MAA) (PBMMA) latex with different amounts of functional monomer methacrylic acid(MAA) were produced with redox initiator system by seed emulsion polymerization. The overall conversion of the monomers reaches up to 99.6 % and almost all the instantaneous conversion is over 96 %. The latex particle size (dz) is 421 nm and the polydispersity index (PDI) is less than 0.08. The experimental values of particle sizes are in accordance with calculated ones, indicating that the particles have grown without significant secondary nucleation. When 0.9% functional monomer (MAA) was used, the Charpy notched impact strength of PBT/PBMMA (mass ratio of 100/20) reaches the maximum, increases to 7.6 times of that of pure PBT resin. DMA spectra show that the internal friction peak of the rubber phase moves to high temperature and the internal friction peak of PBT to low temperature, the mechanical loss peak becomes wider. These results show that the compatibility of PBMMA particles with PBT matrix is the best when 0.9% functional monomer was used. SEM observation confirms the mechanical results.
