摘　　要：以云南省迪庆天然林保护数字信息的应用为研究实例 。Natural forest protection is a great system to environment protection and Sustainable development.It includes forest division,forest classification,prohibit logging,control disaster and forest regeneration.Digital information of natural forest is a important technique in natural forest Protection project.Which integrated Remote Sensing(RS),Geographic Information System(GIS),Global Positioning System(GPS),Virtual Realiry(VR),and et al.Digital information makes natural forest protection to have characters of multi scale,multi temporal and multi dimension In addition,examples of operational application of digital information for natural forest protection in Diqing,Yunnan province are discussed Which are effective and reliable tool to natural forest protection
