摘　　要：心形刺甲 (Platyscelissubcordata ) 1年发生 1代 ,有世代重叠现象 ,以成、幼虫越冬。卵期 7～ 1 0天 ,幼虫共有 7龄 ,在 4月下旬至 9月上旬化蛹 ,蛹经过 6～ 1 7天羽化为成虫。成虫性激敏 ,食性杂。This paper discribed the morphological characteristics, living habits and life cycle of Platyscelis subcordata.  It is known that Platyscelis subcordata has one generation each year and hiberante with adult and larva in soil and has generations overlapping. The egg stage is 7-10 days. The larva has seven instars. The exarate pupa appears from the late-April to the early-September and through 6-17 days, it emerges imagoes. Platycelis subcordata is an omnivoraous insect and has excitability.
