摘　　要：中国都市化进程的快速步伐是有目共睹的,研究都市文化成为中国都市化进程中的重要任务。翻译介绍国外的都市文化研究成果,成为国内都市文化研究的重要任务,对于拓展都市文化研究视阈、建设都市文化理论,具有开拓性的意义。由高等院校、社科院组建的研究机构,对于都市文化的研究与发展起到了十分重要的作用。在近些年来的都市文化研究中,我们仍然看到了某些缺憾和不足。首先,在理论上缺乏系统性,缺乏建树理论体系的视阈。其次,在整体上关注研究的宏观性,缺乏具体问题研究的深入细致。再次,研究关注政治学、经济学等方法,缺乏田野调查的具体深入。The urbanization in China is in the rapid process, and the urban culture studies have become an important task in the urbanization process in China. Translation of foreign urban culture studies, an important task of the cultural studies, plays a pioneering role for the expansion of the urban culture studies and the construction of urban culture theories. Research institutions, including institutions of higher learning and the academies of social sciences, play an important role in the research and development of urban culture. However, there are some shortcomings and deficiencies in urban cultural studies. Firstly, there is a lack of systematic theory; secondly, the studies are too general, whereas the study of specific issues is lack of in-depth analysis; finally, the approach of politics and economics is paid attention, and the in-depth fieldwork is ignored.
