摘  要:开源创新过程的开放性以及成果的共享性,决定其本质上是知识作为公共产品,可以通过互联网由私人进行有效提供。开源创新的参与者同时受到结果性激励和参与性激励的驱动,那些具有较低开发成本和较高参与收益的年轻开发者会主动参与生命周期较长或商业价值更高的开源创新项目。当激励存在网络外部性且潜在开发者人数足够多时,所有开发者都会选择参与开源创新并持续进行贡献。开源创新为我国在信息化时代打造创新型国家提供了一种全新的思路。Due to its openness and sharing of its results, the nature of open-source innovation is taking knowledge as a kind of public good, which can be privately and effectively provided via the Internet. The open source contributors are driven both by outcome-oriented and participation-oriented incentives. The young developers with less development cost or higher participation benefits will ac- tively participate in the open source project with longer lifecycle or higher business value. All the de- velopers will choose to join open source projects and continue to make contributions as long as moti- vations have positive network externality and the number of potential contributors is large enough. Open-source innovation has provided a brand new idea for China to make itself an innovative country in the information age.
