FOUR NEW SPECIES OF EIMERIA PARASITE FROM FRESHWATER FISHES (EUCOCCIDIA: EIMERIDIA: EIMERIIDAE)

摘　　要：本文记述寄生于淡水鱼类的艾美科原虫四新种。显著艾美虫,新种Eimeria eminens sp.nov.寄生于日本鳗鲡肠道。斗鱼艾美虫,新种Eimeria macropoda sp.nov.寄生于圆尾斗鱼肠道。惠州艾美虫,新种Eimeria huizhouensis sp.nov.寄生于胡子鲶肠道。铜鱼艾美虫,新种Eimeria coreia sp.nov.寄生于铜鱼肠道。Eimeria eminens sp. nov. (fig. 1)Host: Anguilla japonica.Location IntestineLocality HuiZhou, Guangdong province (22°10'N, 115°10'E)Date June, Octo-ber 1984.Oocyst spherical, 13.0-7.2 μm in diameter, average 15.1 μm. Oocyst wall smooth, semi-translucent, about 0.3-0.5 μm thick. Spore cyst ovoid, 7.0-8.8 (μm, average 8.3 μm in length, 5.0-5.8 μm, average 5.5 μm in wid h, with a thick membrane and a stieda body at one end, within stieda body, two rod-like projects protruding. Each cyst with two sporozoi-tes, the latter banana-like, with both ends curving and hook-like, measuring 7.9-9.0 by 1.9-2.6 μm, average 8.6 by 2.2 μm. Cyst residual body composed of 1-3 spherical granules. In mature oocyst, no oocyst residuum and polar body found.The new species similar to E. anguillae Leger et Holland, 1922, but differs from the latter in size of oocyst, structure of stieda body, shape of sporozoites and cyst residuum.Eimeria macropoda sp. nov. (fig.2)Host Macropodus chinensisLocation Intestine.Locality Tuanfeng Town, Huanggang County, Hubei Province (29°40'N, 115°40'E)Date December, 1983; October, 1984,Oocyst spherical, 9.0-10.2 μm in diameter, average 9.7 μm. Oocyst wall smooth, about 0.3-0.4 μm thick. Cyst ellipsoid, 6.7-7.7 by 3.1-3.8 μm, average 7.0 by 3.3 μm. Sporozoi-tes rod-like, with two ends curving and hook-like, measuring 7.5-8.1 by 1.2-1.4 μm, average 7.7- by 1.3 μm. Cyst residual_body composed of many dispersed granules. No oocyst residuum and polar body found in mature oocyst.No report about the Eimeria in the host Macropodus chinensis. This new species similar to E. ojibwana Molnar et Fernando, 1974, a parasite of Coitus bairdi, but differs from the latter in shape of cyst and sporozoites.Eimeria huizhouensis sp. nov. (fig.3) Host: Clarias fuscus.Location Intestine.Locality Huizhou, Guangdong Province (22°10'N, 115°10'E).Date March, 1984.Oocyst spherical, 11.0-13.2 μm in diameter, average 12.1 μm.
