摘　　要：A general method for constructing bidimensional orthogonal nonseparable mul- tiwavelets is presented. Moreover, this construction method can be extended to the con- struction of n-dimensional multiwavelets. In addition, we also study some properties of the multiwavelets such as balancing. Finally, we give an-example to illustrate our method to construct bidimensional nonseparable compactly supported orthogonal multiwavelets.
