摘 要:实验研究了非相干双光反馈半导体激光器(SL)系统的非线性动力学行为,并考察了在一系列不同外腔长度比例下的混沌演化特性.结果表明:与非相干单光反馈SL系统相比,在合适的双腔长度比例下,非相干双光反馈SL系统所产生的混沌序列的外腔延时特征得到显著消减,功率谱分布更加平坦,且自相关特性更加理想.进一步的实验证实,这种消减现象不仅在双外腔长度为近似相等时发生,对于外腔长度为分数倍时同样存在.另外通过微调外腔长度比例,非相干双光反馈SL系统的混沌特性可被显著改变,外腔延时特征也可被显著增强.Nonlinear dynamics of a semiconductor laser (SL) with double incoherent optical feedback was experimentally studied, and the evolution of chaos was investigated under different external cavity length ratios. The results showed that compared with those of single incoherent optical feedback SL system, cha-otic signals of double incoherent optical feedback (DIOF) SL system had much smaller time-delay (TD) signature, flatter power spectral distribution and more ideal self-correlation property. Experimental obser-vations further demonstrated that, in DIOF-SL system, the TD signature reduction occurred not only in the case of approximately equal double cavity lengths, but also in the case of fractional cavity length ratio. Additionally, through fine tuning the ratio of cavity lengths, the chaotic dynamics of DIOF-SL system could be significantly changed, and the TD signature significantly enhanced.
