摘　　要：旅游已成为中国少数民族地区社会经济发展的重要形式,对中国民族地区的发展起着十分重要的作用。在文献回顾的基础上,对民族旅游的概念进行剖析,分析了民族旅游发展的特点。基于对四川平武白马藏族的调查研究,探讨了民族旅游发展与族群文化变迁之间存在的必然联系,并就旅游发展背景下族群文化变迁的问题提出了自己的见解。Tourism is an important form of social economic development and has hence played an important role in ethnic commu- nity development in China. This paper deals with the impacts of ethnic tourism on socio-cultural change in ethnic communities. Drawing on field research conducted at Bai-ma Tibetan communities in Pingwu County of Sichuan Province, the study reports on socio-cultural changes that have been occurring in Bai-ma Tibetans＇ ways of life （e. g. , their traditional dress, their drinking and eating habits, their houses, and their dialect and ethnic performances）. The study contributes to discussions on tourism and soeio- cultural change in ethnic communities. Implications of the research for mitigating negative impacts of ethnic tourism development are also discussed.
