摘　　要：十九世纪后期日本的近代化成功之路是整个日本采取了一个正确的抉择,走上了一条"脱亚入欧"的道路,使日本在较短的时间内成为和欧美同列的发达国家,实现了文明的递进和嬗变。指引这条正确道路的是被称为"日本的伏尔泰"、"日本启蒙运动的先驱"、"日本近代教育之父"、"明治时期教育的伟大功臣"的福泽谕吉和他的"脱亚入欧论"。而处于同一时期和日本有着相似国际国内环境的中国却走上另外一条充满屈辱和伤痛的近代化之路。In the late of the 19th century ,Japan’ s successful way to modernization should be owed to the correct choice and decisions it made who chose to break away from Asia and join Europe .It made Japan become a developed country as its European and American counterparts in a short period and realize the transition and sublimation of civiliza-tion .The man who led Japan to success is Fukuzawa Yoshi who is called Japan’s Voltaire ,the pioneer in Japan’s En-lightenment Campaign ,the father of modern education of Japan and the man who made great contribution to Japan’s edu-cation in Mingzi Period and the man who proposed the theory of break away from Asia and join Europe .In contrast ,in the same period ,China with the similar international and domestic situation chose another humiliating and painful road to modernization .
