心理分析视角下的《秘密的分享者》

摘　　要：约瑟夫·康拉德的短篇小说《秘密的分享者》一直被视作其海洋小说的代表作之一。传统的批评者多从船长的双重人格的角度分析他的成长历程,然而,从心理分析的角度审视《秘密的分享者》,可以清晰地看到康拉德笔下的人物在面对危机时心理上和情感上的斗争过程,从而验证了弗洛伊德的精神分析理论在文学批评中的作用和意义。运用镜像理论和精神分析的方法,可诠释船长在解救、窝藏到放逐莱格特的过程中。＂The Secret Sharer＂, one of his sea stories, is considered among Conrad＇s most signifi- cant works. Traditionally, the captain in ＂The Secret Sharer＂ has been analyzed through his split personality; however, when examined from the perspective of psychoanalysis, the mental and e-motional struggle of the characters in Conrad＇ s work becomes obvious, thus proving the significance of Freudian theory in literary critique. Using mirror theory and psychoanalytical interpretations, this article explores the maturation of the central character, the captain, in the process of his saving, harboring and abandoning Leggatt.
