摘　　要：大学校名如何"取名定字"这一课题,似乎鲜有人问津。分析我国大学校名之现状,大多受地理因素之影响,"因处其地,而定之以名",仅有寥寥数所高校校名饱蘸几分人文气息。此外,还存在校名千篇一律,千校一面,缺乏民族文化底蕴等不足。是故,在完善我国大学校名之时宜用民族化、个性化、多元化之校名。唯有如此,才能更好地承载大学之基本信息,蕴含大学之宝贵价值,体现世人对大学所寄予之特殊意义。Very few people studied the program how to name the university. The present situations of names of universities in China was analyzed, in which most were influenced by the geographical factors, only naming the uni- versity according to the place, and only a few names of universities has the humanistic spirit. Besides, the names of university are similar and lack of national culture. So the improve the names of universities should be national, in- dividual and diverse. Only in this way, the basic information of colleges can better be inherited, and the name of university can contain the precious value of universities, and show the special meaning placed by people to the uni- versities.
