当代美国小说中的新现实主义特色

摘　　要：二战后,在美国小说领域出现了现实主义的新的繁荣,涌现出一批优秀的以现实主义创作为倾向的小说家,然而由于受到战后美国政治、经济、各种新思想以及由此带来的人们心理变化的影响,这一时期的现实主义注定要不同于传统的现实主义,它是经历了战后各种思潮和主义洗礼的具有新特色的现实主义,学界将其称为新现实主义。本文对新现实主义小说进行了界定并以约翰·契弗、塞林格及黑人女作家托尼·莫里森的小说为例,阐述了新现实主义小说的创作特色,认为新现实主义小说是战后美国小说发展的必然趋势。There was a new prosperity of realism in American novels after WWII and a group of excellent realist novelists aris- en. However, influenced by postwar politics, economics and various new ideas, realism of this period was different with the tra- ditional one, which is called ＂neo -realism＂. This article tries to define neo -realism in American novels and elaborate its characteristics by taking works of John Cheever, J. D. Salinger and Toni Morrison as examples. Neo - realism keeps features of traditional realism while blending writing skills of modernism and post - modernism, which make it the necessary trend of American novels after WWII.
