摘　　要：当前,广汉市正在加快推进新型城镇化,建设宜居、宜商、宜业的天府水木田园城市,到2015年,广汉市的城镇化率将达到55%。要实现这一目标,广汉市可借鉴美国、英国、法国和日本等发达国家经验,因地制宜推动城镇化,充分发挥市场机制的作用,鼓励社会力量参与,强化产业支撑,加大社会保障力度。Guanghan is aecelerating new mode urbanization by building a garden city that is friendly for living and businesses. In 2015, urbanization rate will reach 55%. In order to achieve this goal, the government could learn from the experience of developed countries like the United States, Britain, France and Japan, map out measures tailoring to local conditions, give full play to the role of the market mechanism, encourage involvement of the private sector, develop industries and reinforce social security.
