摘 要:茅盾的生前显赫、死后落寞,都与其开创的"社会剖析小说"的艺术得失密切相关。这一小说类型的创作范式可归纳为"感性细节"加"理性框架",思想精髓在于批判现实时的分寸把握,说到底是作者意欲干预政治又希望规避现实风险的文化心理的产物。茅盾及其小说创作集中体现了中国知识分子在中西文化交汇碰撞之际,在现代文化冲击中既深感诱惑又惊惧交加的矛盾复杂心理。The striking contrast betw een Mao Dun's eminent literary achievements before death and loneliness after death is closely related to his artistic success and failure of the"Society-analyzed Novel".The w riting model of this fiction genre,w hich is pioneered by Mao Dun can be summarized as the combination of both"emotional details"and"rational framew ork",w ith moderate criticism on the society being its essence.In other w ords,it is the cultural and psychological product of the author' mind,attempting to intervene in politics on one hand,and hoping to hedge the risk on the other.In fact,Mao Dun and his literary w orks reflect a contradictory and complicated mentality of Chinese intellectuals,w ho are experiencing both temptation and horror influenced by the modern culture in the process of the collision betw een Chinese and Western cultures.
