摘 要:本研究对实验班非英语专业本科生进行了为期一年的元认知监控策略培训,旨在提高学习者在网络自主学习环境下的自主调控能力和学习成绩。通过问卷调查和测试法收集数据,运用SPSS软件对数据进行分析,结果表明:实验班和对照班在自主调控能力方面差异显著,主要是对教师教学目标的了解、制订学习目标和计划等方面存在显著差异;在培养学习者对策略使用的监控和学习过程的监控方面差异不显著,说明元认知监控策略培训对培养学习者自主调控能力具有积极作用,但自主调控能力各方面发展不均衡。实验班和对照班在学习成绩上存在显著差异,说明元认知监控策略有助于提高学生的英语学习成绩。A study has been conducted on the meta- cognitive monitoring strategy trainging among cotlege freshmen in Hubei Polytechnic University. The purpose of the program is to enhance learners" self - regulative ability and academic achievements in the self - access learning environment. The data collected through questionnaires and English tests was analyzed by SPSS. The results show that the distinction between the experimental class and the control class in self - regulative ability is signifi- cant ,which shows in understanding of teaching objectives ,formulating learning goals and plans;the difference between the two classes in developing their ability to monitor strategy use and learning process is less significant. This reveals that the meta - cognitive monitoring strategy training has a positive effect on developing learners" self - regulative ability, while the aspects of self - regulative ability developed in an unbalanced way. The academic achievement of the two classes is significantly different, which shows that the meta -cognitive monitoring strategy trainging contributed to improve learners'achievement in English.
