摘　　要：本文记述采自湖南省罗霄山西麓短翼蚱科一新种 ,即罗霄山大磨蚱 Macromotettix luoxiaoshanensis sp.nov.,模式标本保存于陕西师范大学动物研究所。In this paper, a new species of Macromotettix Günther from Hunan Province is reported. The type specimens are deposited in the Institute of Zoology, Shaanxi Normal University, China. Macromotettix luoxiaoshanensis , sp. nov. (figs. 1-3) This new species is allied to Macromotettix torulosinota Zheng, but differs from the latter in: 1) width of vertex as wide as the width of an eye; 2) median keel of pronotum distince, without pretuberances; 3) hind tibia ocherous, with two dark bands; 4) size smaller, with the 8mm length of ♀ body. Length of boby: ♀ 8 mm Length of pronotum: ♀ 8 mm Length of hind femur: ♀ 6 mm Width of shoulder: ♀ 2 mm Holotype ♀, paratype 1 ♀, CHINA: Hunan, Yanling, 113°7′E, 26°5′N, Ⅷ 1997, collected by Tu Rixue.
