摘　　要：叶素先生(1921-2010)早年考入"中训团音干班",后转入国立音乐院分院、本院,1947毕业。后参与开办香港中华音乐院。1949年参加广州军管会音乐组。后历任华南文艺学院音乐部部长、"中南音专"声乐系主任、湖北艺术学院音乐系副主任、副院长。1981年后任广州音乐学院副院长、星海音乐学院副院长,中国民族声乐教学研究会筹委会副主委。对武汉音乐学院的发展有着重要的贡献。Mr. Ye Su was admitted to the Training Class of Music Cadre held by Central Training Mis sion, and later transferred to the National Conservatory of Music, graduated in 1947. Then he participated running Hong Kong China Music School. He was a member of music group of Guangzhou Military Control Commission in 1949. Then, Ye Su appointed to be director of Music Department of Art College in South Chi na, dean of Voice Department of Music Academy in CentralSouth China, vice director of Music Department of Hubei Art Institute, vice president of Hubei Art Institute. He was transferred to Guangzhou Conservatory of Music as vice president, vice president of Xinghai Conservatory of Music, vice director of Preparatory Commit tee for Vocal Music in Chinese Style Education Association. Ye Su made important contributions to the devel opment of Wuhan Conservatory of Music.
