摘　　要：针对西北黄土高原地区河谷型城镇"上山建城"是否可行的争论,该文通过对相关文献资料的查阅和分析,运用比较研究的方法,得出了相关研究仍处于初步探索阶段,亟待必要性和可行性的全面论证和理论支撑的结论,以资对西北黄土高原地区河谷型城镇山地利用课题研究起到基础作用。Aiming at the feasibility debate of Valley towns in the Loess Plateau of Northwest China to ＂Constribute in the hills＂, this article comes to the conclusion that relevant research is still in the preliminary stage of exploration, and it is urgent to do the necessity and feasible nature research, based on the inspection and analysis of the relevant literature, and the use of comparative research, so as to play a fundamental role in the subject research on mountain utilization of valley towns in the Loess Plateau of Northwest China.
