Objective To investigate the influence of anxiety on the immune function of patients with cancer during perloperative period. Methods 96 cancer patients with anxiety during perioperative period were evaluated by self rating anxiety scale(SAS).Among the 96 patients,45 cases had light anxiety,31 cases had middle anxiety and 20 cases had heavy anxiety.42 cancer pa*ien1s without anxiety were chosen as the control group. Then, levels of T,B and NK cell subpopulation were detected by flow cytometry. Results I.evels of CD3+,CD3+ CD4+ ,CD4+/CD8+ and CD3 -CD19+ in the anxiety group were significanlly lower than those in the control group( P 〈0.01),while levels of CD3+ CD8t and CD3 CD56 + were higher than those in the control group( P 〈0.01). Levels of CD3+ ,CD3+ CD4+ , CD4+ /CD8+ and CD3- CD19+ in the patients with different degrees of anxiety decreased with the aggravation of anxiety, while levels of CD3 + CD8 + and CD3 CDS6 + increased wi*h the aggravation of anxlety.Conelusion Anxiety of patients with cancer may inhibit immune function has inhibitory effect on the body's immune function, so it can be a-- dopted as an index of evaluation on immune function lesion and therefor has significant prewarming value in prognosti-cation of cancer occurrence or aggravation.
