摘　　要：在纳尔逊-阿特金斯艺术博物馆新馆中,斯蒂文·霍尔以"石头与羽毛"的最初概念创造了一处给人带来全新体验的场所。通过对建筑的阅读,文章试图从竞赛过程、光线营造、空间体验与演进等几个方面剖析其如何实现建筑与景观的融合,从而达到新旧并存、和而不同的效果。Architect Steven Holl had successfully created a site which may evoke unprecedented experience in Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art by introducing the concept of ＂stone and feature＂. This article is trying to reveal the subtle harmonization between the co-existing yet contradictory old and new parts of this magnificent building by focusing on aspects including competition process, integration between architecture and landscape, manipulation of sunlight and evolution of spaces.
