摘　　要：拉斐尔·塞缪尔是英国杰出的社会主义史学家,主张拓宽历史研究的领域,提倡"自下而上的历史"。他所领导的历史工场运动,极大地促进了历史实践的民主化进程;他也是英国口述史的开拓者,为英国口述史的发展做出了重要贡献。As a famous socialist historian of Great Britain,Raphael Samuel held the idea that we should expand the horizon of historical researches and promot 'history from bottom to top'.The historical workshop he led gready promoted the democratization of historical practice.He was also the pioneer of oral history of England.
