摘　　要：采用随机抽样方法,以重庆地区百名视障读者为调查对象开展问卷调查,在调查视障读者的阅读现状及需求的基础上,解析全媒体阅读内涵和特点,探讨公共图书馆改善视障读者信息无障碍服务的应对策略。调查显示视障读者正逐步实现由传统的盲文纸质阅读向全媒体阅读转变,因此公共图书馆应从服务重心、文献建设重点、服务方式、服务理念四方面改善视障读者信息无障碍服务。A questionnaire survey is done of 104 visually impaired readers in Chongqing using random sampling, in order to re- veal the current reading situation and reading demand of the visually impaired. This paper explores the connotation and the fea- tures of omnimedia reading, then, discusses the countermeasures for public libraries to provide barrier-free service for visually impaired readers. The results of the survey show that visually impaired readers have gradually changed from reading traditional Braille materials to omnimedia reading. Therefore, public libraries should improve their relevant services for visually impaired readers in the following four aspects= service center, major literature construction, service mode and service concept.
