摘　　要：交通安全、交通堵塞及环境污染是困扰当今国际交通领域的三大难题。智能交通系统及面向智能交通的物联网研究是学术界广泛重视的研究领域,其研究将对未来世界产生深刻影响。从环境感知、网络传输、数据处理等方面对物联网智能交通系统国内、外相关领域的最新研究现状进行总结分析,为未来进行深入而广泛的智能交通系统研究及应用奠定基础。最后,指出了物联网智能交通系统的研究热点和展望。Traffic safety, traffic jam and environmental pollution are three of the most serious problems facing mankind today. Intelligent Transportation System and the Internet of things （IoT） are as a promising research field and have being paid more attention. The research of ITS based on IoT will bring profound impact on the development of the world. Current researches and the recent development of environment sensing, network transmission and data processing at home and aboard are included in this overview.
