摘  要:以历史档案文献史料为依据,探讨张绥铁路路线选定过程。京张铁路向西延伸的干线终点因路途遥远人烟稀少,由恰克图改为绥远,遂成张绥铁路;张绥铁路取道大同除考虑工程难度外,更顾及大同丰富的煤炭资源和日后方便与同蒲铁路连接;包头并不是张绥铁路干线的终点,却对包头的崛起起到了至关重要的作用。张绥铁路路线选择过程体现了铁路选线原则以及工程之外因素对铁路的影响。According to the original plan, this railway's end point was Qiaketu via Kulun. But this way was very far and sparsely populated, people determined Suiyuan instead as the end point, which was an important city of Inner Mongolia. The reasons to make a detour to Datong were its richness in coal resources and its future connection with the Datong - Puxian railway, besides the difficulty of construction. Suiyuan - Baotou railway was decided as a branch line, because Baotou was a small town then, this branch llne's quality was also the worst. Zhangjiakou - Suiyuan railway was very important for the rise of Baotou. The process of selection schemer reflected the principle of selection and the effect of external factors on railway.
