双语地图中英文注释的设计研究——以中英文版《武汉市中心城区图》为例

摘　　要：双语地图在城市宣传与对外交流中发挥的作用越来越大,其中地图注记的翻译是地图是否实用的关键。本文以中英文版《武汉市中心城区图》为例,探讨了双语地图中英文注释的设计方法。在参考国家相关规定的基础上,总结了注记翻译中"专名音译,通名意译"的一般原则,并针对属性词、单位名、地名和专题信息等不同种类的地图注记翻译进行了研究。The bilingual map plays an increasingly important role in the city publicity and outside communication, in which the translation of map annotation is the key to the practical value of the map. The paper discusses the design method of the English annotation in bilingual map taking the 〈Wuhan Urban Map〉 for example. Based on the relevant provisions of the state,it summarizes the principle of ＂common-name in Chinese and general-name in english ＂ in translation and discusses different types of map annotation according to attribute words, institutions names ,place names and thematic information.
