摘  要:上第三系红粘土地层,其工程性质复杂,组成物质和相变较大,在实际开挖施工过程中,N2红粘土隧洞易发生塌方和大变形,严重影响隧洞掘进和围岩稳定。以引黄入晋工程的上第三系(N2)红粘土隧洞为例,通过对N2红粘土的结构、构造及工程性质研究,分析其变形及破坏的特征,对围岩变形及塌方洞段提出了合理的工程处理措施,效果较为显著,同时提出了隧洞施工方法建议,可作为类似工程设计和施工的参考。Since both the sedimentary settings and compositions of Neogene lateritic clay are variable, its engineering properties are quite intricate. In excavation practices, collapsing and servious deformaing problems are often encountered during heading in Neogene lateritic clay. In this paper based on the engineering practice of Yellow River diversion project, the texture, structure and engineering properties of lateritic clay, as well as deformation and failure characteristics, were analysed and discussed, then remedial measures which were proved to be effective for deformed and unstable sections were summarized. Tunneling principle in Neogene lateritic clay was also proposed as guidelines for design and construction of similar project.
