摘　　要：明清以来,南阳盆地及周边山区由于人口激增,土地和森林等自然资源遭到过度开发,致使南阳盆地自然生态破坏和自然灾害频繁。南阳盆地自然灾害的频发加速了域内水路交通的衰落,加剧了近代南阳盆地社会生态的衰败和社会经济的萧条,最终使南阳盆地由"中心地带"演变为世人所不齿的盗贼渊薮。Since the Ming and Qing Dynasty, the ecological balance of Nanyang Basin was destroyed and there were frequent natural disasters due to population explosion and over development of natural resources, which in turn accelerated the decline of waterway transportation, social ecology and social economy in this area, and ultimately degraded it from a heartland to a land of headhunters.
