摘　　要：以秦兵马俑铠甲为设计元素,探讨了传统服饰元素在现代服装设计中的运用方式,从"表形"、"达意"到"造势"几个设计层次出发,认为在对中国古代服饰文化遗产做到传承的同时,深入领悟传统元素的精华,创新民族元素。Taking the armor of Qin＇s Terracotta Warriors and Horses as an example, this paper explores the applica- tion modes of traditional clothing elements in modern costume design. From the perspectives of ＂visual appearance＂, ＂implied meaning＂ and ＂arresting effect＂, this paper asserts that modern costume design has not only adopted the visual elements of ancient Chinese clothing but also inherited the spirit of ancient Chinese culture and has innovated ethnic elements.
