摘 要:中国当代指挥家、指挥教育家黄晓同教授今年9月年满八十,届时,上海音乐学院、上海交响乐团、上海音乐出版社等单位将为他举办研讨会及纪念音乐会,宝刀不老的黄晓同先生将携陈燮阳、余隆、谭利华、张国勇等多位弟子同台演出。届时,笔者合著的《指挥家教育家黄晓同》一书也将出版。此文也是我们对黄先生的一点敬意。The contemporary Chinese conductor and conduct- ing educator Prof. Huang Xiaotong will be eighty years old by this September选 On that occasion of celebrating his birthday, the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra and the Shanghai Music Publishing House will organise a symposium and a special concert, in which the old but still vigorous conductor Huang Xiaotong will perform together with several of his disciples including Chen Xieyang, Yu Long, Tan Lihua and Zhang Guoyong. In the meantime, a book The Conductor and Educator Huang Xiaotong, co-authored by the authors of this article, will be published then, too. In the 1950's, China sent conducting several students to study in the former Soviet Union, among whom were Li Delun, Yan Liangkun, Cao Peng, Huang Xiaotong, Han Zhongjie and Zheng Xiaoying at different age, all as short-term students except for Huang Xiaotong, the only undergraduate student of them. Huang Xiaotong spent four years finishing all the courses with excellent results(getting 5 points for each of the courses), and graduated from the university one year ahead of the schedule. In July 1960, Huang Xiaotong returned to China, and was assigned by the Ministry of Culture to work as a teacher at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music. He accepted the job and happily devoted all his efforts to the conducting teaching at the school. When recalling the past, his old fiend Li Delun once said that it was a pity for Huang Xiaotong to work on conducting teaching but certainly he did not let the others down. For the next 37 years, Huang Xiaotong remained a committed teacher who, with the Russian school of strict, precise, systematic and standardized conducting practice, taught over eighty students in his entire career, offering them his own experience and knowl- edge without reservation. After retiring from his work, Huang Xiaotong had more opportunities to cooperate with various orchestras, and by doing so he had a better understanding of theart of conducting.
