摘　　要：选取阿瑟·米勒几部代表作的女性作为研究对象,发现这些女性往往以双面夏娃形象出现,她们一方面诱出了隐藏在男性灵魂深处的恶,另一方面作为旁观者对悲剧的结局无能为力,而剧中的男性只有通过自我的毁灭得到救赎。由此得出结论:米勒作品中所反映的两性关系是对《圣经》的颠覆,他还原了两性关系的真相,首次将原罪案件中的男女放置在一个平等的位置上。This paper analyzes several women characters in Arthur Miller＇ s main works, and finds that women often appear in the image of double - faced Eve in his plays. On one hand, they seduce men to release the sin hidden in their soul; on the other hand, they are of no help to the tragedy, while only through death, can men redeem themselves. Hence a conclusion is drawn that in his plays Miller subverts the relation between two sexes reflected in the Bible, restores the relation between two sexes to the truth, and for the first time plays men and women in Original Sin Case in a position of equality.
