摘　　要：以埃德加·爱伦·坡的恐怖小说为切入点,论及其恐怖小说的浪漫主义特色。认为在作品主题上,爱伦·坡把目光投向了对死亡与恐怖的书写,致力于揭示人类精神世界的阴暗面;在艺术风格上,他强调作品统一的整体效果,通过怪异、骇人的情节来制造震撼读者心灵的恐怖感。Edgar Allan Poe＇s horror tales are studied, and the romanticism features of his works are discussed. In theme, Poe devoted himself to the depiction of death and horror and the revelation of the dark sides in human nature; in style, he emphasized the unity of effect in his works, and made endeavors to produce the heart-shocking horror to the reader through well-designed grotesque and threatening plots.
