摘　　要：论文通过对图书馆履行社会责任困境的分析,提出主要从两方面入手解决存在问题:一方面从理论上厘清误区,正确解读图书馆社会责任的概念、内容;另一方面,从图书馆社会责任活动中探究规律,发现图书馆履行社会责任的有效途径。Based on the analysis of the dilemma of the library to fulfill its social responsibility, this paper proposes that to solve the current problem, we should start from two aspects： on one hand, from theory to clarify misunderstanding and to correctly interpret the concept and content of social responsibility of the library; on the other hand, from the social responsibility activities of the library to explore the role and to find the effective approach of library＇s social responsibility.
