试论湘军兴起对晚清湖南文化教育的影响

摘　　要：湘军对晚清湖南文化教育发展的影响主要表现为四个方面:湘军将领重建和新建各种教育设施,为晚清湖南教育文化事业的兴盛提供了有利的环境;湘军集团以各种方式增加地方文武学额,促进了科举教育的兴盛;湘军将领以各种方式在湖南兴办文化事业,推动了湖南文化事业的发展;促进了湖南人才的兴盛。The influence on Hunan culture and education development was demonstrated by the following as- pects： The officers of Hunan army reconstructed and newly-constructed some educational equipments, which provid- ed better environment for the prosperous education and culture development of Hunan at that time; Hunan army in- creased the numbers of local civilian and military learners, which promoted the prosperity of imperial examination; Hunan army promoted cultural activities in different ways, which spurred the development of Hunan culture and talents cultivation.
