摘　　要：由于程朱理学思想日益加强、外出经商者多、朝廷公开表彰、战乱暴乱等原因,明清徽州地区殉节妇女数量大大增加,其中烈妇殉节的方式有很多种,殉节的时间也各有差异,烈妇殉节的行为维护了徽州社会的礼教秩序和宗族乡里的荣誉,也促进了徽州社会的发展和繁荣。Owing to the strengthening of the Neo-Confucianism, more men going go out for business, government＇s open commendation and war chaos, and so on, the number of chaste women in Huizhou has increased very fast. And the ways these women committed suicide for chastity are legion, and the time they chose for death is different. These suicide behaviors kept the Confucian ethics in good order and maintained the honor of the clan village, and helped to facilitate the development and prosperity of the economy of Huizbou.
