木质含碳生物陶粒的制备工艺及性能

摘  要:以凹凸棒石粘土(Pg)、锯末(成孔剂)和水玻璃(粘结剂)为原料,通氮气保护炭化,制备出符合国家水处理标准的木质含碳生物陶粒(Wood Porous Ceramsite,WPC)。利用所制备WPC的抗压强度作为评价WPC质量的指标,通过单因素实验、正交实验来优化WPC的物料配比和煅烧工艺,并通过X射线衍射(XRD)、扫描电子显微镜(SEM),偏光显微镜(polarizing microscopePM),比表面积(BET)等技术来表征WPC结构特征及其特性。结果表明:WPC具有较大比表面积(75 m2/g)和较高的孔隙率(83%),以开放空隙为主。由于微生物可以深入陶粒内部附着生长,在相同培养条件下挂膜实验结果表明,该复合陶粒生物负载量高于市售陶粒,可望为曝气生物滤池提供新的功能性材料。Wood porous ceramsite(WPC) was prepared by calcination with palygorskite (Pg) , sawdust and sodium silicate. As prepared ceramsite was proved to meet the national standard of water treatment of WPC. Furthermore, in various tests for the ceramsite, compressive strength was the principal factor to determine the mechanical properties of ceramsite. In order to get the most suitable ratio of the material, calcination temperature and time were introduced as factors in orthogonal experiment designed to determine the most suitable WPC product~ XRD, SEM, polarizing microscope(PM) , BET-specific surface area (BET-SSA) were used to characterize the properties of WPC. The results show that WPC has a large BET-SSA (75 m2/g) as well as a high porosity (83%). The micro-organisms growth experimental results also show that in the same submerged culture conditions, the biological load in WPC is significantly higher than that of the commercially available ceramsite. WPC is more suitable to serve as the novel functional filler in biological aerated filter.
