摘　　要：福建土楼以方体造型和圆体造型两大类为主,其中方土楼不仅是福建土楼的重要组成部分,也是福建土楼之母。认为闽南文化区域方土楼具有丰富的美学、科技、生态、教育、经济、思想等文化价值,且现有闽南文化区域方土楼比圆土楼更古老、更大型,具有重要的历史地位和价值。同时,闽南文化区域方土楼有完善的生活功能和可靠的防御功能,在闽西南地区发挥了独特的社会历史作用。There are two kinds of Fujian earth building, the round and the square. The square earth buildings in Minnan area culture is not only the important part of Fujian earth building, but also the mother of it. The square earth building is full of the cultural value of beauty, technology, ecology, education, economy and thought etc. The square earth building is older and larger than the round. It has undeniable important his tory status and value. In the meantime, square earth building has perfect living function and reliable defendant function, and it plays unique social and history role in the west and south Fujian.
