摘　　要：党的十八大报告强调要“努力办好人民满意的教育”，民办高校如何落实十八大精神？要选择什么发展道路，以什么样的精神状态、朝什么方向发展和怎样发展。充分认识新形势下努力办好人民满意的民办大学的重要性和紧迫性；进一步明确办好人民满意的民办大学的前进方向和重要任务；民办大学学习贯彻党的十八大精神要干实事、鼓实劲，为提高教育教学质量发挥更大正能量。In the report of the 18th National Congress of CPC, it is required＂to develop the educa- tion which the people are satisfied with＂. This paper studies the approaches to meeting the requirement of the report from four aspects ： the selection of the development roads, the choice of the working styles, the objectives of the development, and the specific ways of the development. In the paper, three approaches are suggested ： 1 ） to understand the importance and urgency of the development; 2） to comprehend the objectives and missions of the development; 3 ） to put the spirit of the report into practice so as to improve the quality of education and teaching.
