摘　　要：最近几年是中国农村图书馆建设最繁荣的时期,政府、图书馆界和民间团体在共享工程向基层延伸服务、农家书屋工程建设、民间力量援建农村图书馆和通过总分馆体系发展农村图书馆服务等方面开展了卓有成效的实践,成为当前发展农村图书馆事业的主要内容。取得进步的同时也暴露出经费短缺、人才匮乏、体制障碍和法制缺失等诸多亟需破解的难题,研究者从不同角度为中国农村图书馆的可持续发展出谋划策。文章对此进行了简要的评述,提出需要从本源上反思发展农村图书馆事业这一命题。It is a prosperous period for the development and researches of rural library in China recently. Chinese govern- ment, the library profession and non-government organizations have experimented with many fruitful ways to expand the Na- tional Cultural Information Resource-sharing Project, to establish the Village Library Project, to aid rural library and to devel- op central and branch library serve rural area. But the experiments also encounter with lack of funds, human resource scarci- ty, system obstacle, and library legislation deletion etc. Researchers have come up with suggestions for the sustainable de- velopment of Chinese rural library based on different perspectives. The paper suggests that we should reflect on the develop- ment of rural library from the source.
