摘　　要：墨西哥裔美国女作家海伦娜玛丽亚维瑞蒙迪斯在她的代表作《在耶稣脚下》中给我们呈现了底层墨西哥裔美国女性的命运,小说见证了作为新一代墨西哥裔美国移民爱斯特拉斯的成长,她在成长过程中需要和多重压迫包括种族、阶级以及性别压迫作斗争,然而她的反抗精神却让人看到了新一代墨西哥裔美国女性的觉醒。In her representative work Under the Feet of Jesus, Helena Maria Viramontes, the Mexican American woman writer, presents to us the fate of lower-class Mexican American women. The novel witnesses the growth of Estrella, a member of the new generation of Mexican Americans, who has to fight against the linking systems of oppression such as race, class and gender, but her rebelliousness points to the awakening of the new generation of Mexican American women.
