摘　　要：晚清利用外资发展矿业开创了中国近现代利用外资的先河。虽然它给中华民族带来了沉重的灾难,但客观上也促进了中国矿业经济的发展。其发展阶段经历了由禁止利用外资到谨慎利用外资,最后发展到完全依赖外资的扭曲地步。分析其利用外资的经验教训,有利于我国当前矿业利用外资活动的良性发展。The use of foreign capital in developing Chinese mining industry in late Qing Dynasty created a new start of using foreign capital during modem China. Objectively speaking, despite bringing a hard blow to Chi- na, it promoted Chinese mining industry at that time. It has been experienced from the prohibition of to the cau- tiousness of and finally to dependence on foreign capital, distorted at last. Therefore, the analysis of the experience of using foreign capital can help Chinese mining industry to use foreign capital in a virtuous way.
