摘　　要：在网络和电子期刊数据库的强烈冲击下,纸质过刊阅览室的使用效率非常低,因此引发了"纸质过刊阅览室存亡"的争论。论述了纸质过刊阅览室在高校图书馆长期存在的必要性,提出了进一步利用过刊资源、提高纸质过刊阅览室利用率的具体措施。Under the strong impact of the network and E-journal database, the utilization ratio of the back issues reading room is very low, so a debate on the survival and downfall of back issues＇ reading room is triggered. This paper discusses the necessity of the long term existence of university library＇ s paper back issues reading room, and puts forward some concrete measures for the further utilization of the back issues resources.
