摘　　要：公安道路交通管理工作是平安建设的重要组成部分。公安机关道路交通管理部门在工作中应当坚持理性、平和、文明、规范,实现公安交通执法管理法律效果和社会效果的统一;坚持社会管理创新,实现管理与服务的统一;坚持主动跨前,问计于民,不断拓宽交通管理工作参与渠道;坚持精细化管理手段,最大限度提升道路通行效能和完善运行环境;坚持加强制度建设,不断夯实公安交通管理工作基础;坚持齐抓共管、广借外力,以合作拓展共赢空间;坚持资源整合、科技强警,不断加速公安交通管理信息化建设;坚持交通文明创建,不断提升城市整体交通文明素质。Road traffic control is an important part of security construction. Road traffic administrative agencies should work in the rational, gentle, civilized and standard way and attain the goal of road traffic control and social effects, constantly innovate social administration and attain the goal of administration and service, take the initiative to consult the public and widen the channel of public participation in traffic control, take precise management methods and do best to improve the traffic efficiency and environment, stick to systematic construction and lay solid foundation in management, rely on social resources and widen space for cooperation, readjust resources and strengthen the police with science and technology, speed up the informationization of road traffic control, create the traffic civilization and increasingly improve the overall road traffic civilization.
