摘　　要：分析数字图书馆的基本特征;指出数字图书馆的核心是提供有利于产生新知识(知识创新)的资源、工具及合作环境。根据这一指导思想,讨论新世纪图书馆事业的变革与发展。Analyzes the general characters of the digital library and indicates that the core of the digital library is to provide the resources, tools and the cooperation environment which can do good to producing new knowledge (knowledge - innovation) , and accordingly discusses the reform and development of the library profession in the new century.
