摘　　要：为满足越来越多的国际交流的需求,清华大学材料学院新增设了工程材料课程全英文教学。根据工程材料课程内容的特点并结合英语教学的优势,在教学过程中通过思路引导,辅以综合性作业的设置,激发学生课下主动思考、课上良性互动的积极性,使学生建立起分析问题的良好思维习惯,为培养创新型人才做出了初步尝试。As an increasing demand for international technique communications, a new class of engineering materials teaching in English was registered since 2012 fall semester at Tsinghua university. According to the course requirement and the advantages of potential teaching in English, we helped students developing abilities in logical thinking and positive problem solving throughout the course study. By introducing comprehensive assignments and active study techniques, the training for innovational talents was practiced.
